About us: We are a company from Germany with more than 30 years’ experience in the barbeque branch (focus on Bratwurst) We want to introduce us and our German Bratwurst to the British Market.

1. The Market

The demand for German Bratwurst is huge (volume market) and rises over the offer. In the UK, BBQ is becoming more and more popular, the number of households which hold BBQ s regularly rose by 55 millions in 2020, from 120 millions to 190 millions. That means an increase by 40 %.

So why shouldn't we try to sell this attractive product in the UK ? Bratwurst is the Germans' most popular sausage and take away treat. Furthermore, it has become very well known in Britain for more than 15 years through the German Christmas-Markets. Sausage is on position number three behind steak and burger.

People love BBQs. On your grill-party at home or as a trading caterer with co-product you cannot go wrong with a grilled German Bratwurst. In Germany Bratwurst is the most often bought BBQ product before chops or schnitzel.

That is why we decided to establish our start-up-company OGB -UK Ltd. In Coventry, Midlands. Our goal is to introduce these partly seasonal products to the British market.

2. The Consumer

We deliver a “Bratwurst” with a typical German Bratwurst flavour.
It is prepacked in retail (household) as well as in wholsaler common quantities.
It is vacuum packed, so there is not necessity for “early consumption”.

3. The Trade / Dealers

We can offer three excellent products from Pork, that means Bratwurst, Krakauer and Bockwurst.
Furthermore, we can also offer Halal products like
* Chicken- / Beef-Bratwurst (Halal certified)
* Chicken- / Beef-Bockwurst (Halal certified)

Of course, we also have the suitable original sauces like
* German Curry Ketchup
* German Mustard / Senf

An interesting product is Bockwurst -to – go / ready to eat. For convenience and retail stores we offer a steam machine (as rental, inclusive nationwide full-service).
* Packaging units by arrangement
* Type of packaging - vacuum packed
* Long “best before dates”

4. Logistics

Cold storage is available as well as a refrigerated van. So we can guaranty an uninterrupted cold chain. The steamers can be delivered immediately as well (as rental)

In the first step we will import sausages from Germany (produced by our certified partners). In the second step we will start with a production near Birmingham in summer 2023. In this case we will increase the delivery system by other lorries. Currently we have cool storage which can be run as a consignment warehouse.

We permanently have 40 pallets of different kinds of Bratwurst / Bockwurst in stock, ready to go.
